US.- Fairmount Park Casino & Racing, located in Collinsville, Illinois, has launched live table games in its gaming area following an investment of nearly $3 million and the hiring of 35 new employees. Although Fairmount Park underwent a redesign in 2025, previously it only offered electronic table games and slot machines. The company described this latest addition as “another major expansion for Illinois’ only racino”.
The facility also features live thoroughbred horse racing, live entertainment, and dining options. The casino operates daily from 9am to 2am.
General manager Vince Gabbert stated: “We are the only venue for many people within a 5-6 hour drive to watch horse races and play casino games. With the introduction of live games such as blackjack and poker tables, we aim to deliver a truly premium casino experience. We anticipate high energy on the gaming floor, which will enhance the overall excitement within the casino. Our objective is to create a space where guests can spend their entire day enjoying a variety of activities.
“We genuinely want to become a destination that appeals to both locals and tourists, offering a fantastic time for all. We have rapidly evolved into the top racetrack in the state, and now we’ve developed an exceptional casino experience for our patrons.
